I can't download flash player! Using Windows XP SP2 Updated?

My computer is having trouble downloading Flash Player. As a matter of fact, it just freezes whenever I try to download something (not neccessarily Flash Player).

I have another computer that downloads just fine. It is on a home network, so usually I just download on that computer, transfer the file and then execute it on the one that doesn't download.

In the case of Flash Player, you have to do some kind of auto-install and, of course, it doesn't work. I am not sure if I can't download the ActiveX control or something else. I tried for hours trying to find an executeable, but Macromedia doesn't offer one.

So I have 2 questions:

- Is there an executeable for Flash Player that I can download using my other computer?

- How can I solve my downloading problem?

First uninstall the flash player %26amp; then install it again for the windows version that you have.

the following url has all the alternate flash player links where you can download and run it in your hard disk.
