Slow download speeds?

I have wireless internet (IEEE 802.11g USB Wireless LAN Adapter #4) Isn't 802.11g suppose to have a speed of 54mbps but i have 11mbps. My download speed is VERY slow. For other people it takes about 40 minutes to download this game called Audition. It took me 7 hours! I was downloading at a speed of around 45kbps. Torrent downloads download at like 0.1-10.0 kbps. The fastest recently was only around 45kbps. Also online videos take forever to load. Before I could just watch everything without waiting and my download speed was really fast but now everything is slow. Can someone tell me what the problem is and what I can do?

i jus ve 5kbps.... it took 25days to download the game Prince of Persia thru torrents... atlast i found its full of viruses crap...

Reply:if its a Wi Fi thing make sure some1 else isnt your internet connection... trust me once 2 people or more start sharing the same bandwidth it starts getting slow... im talking slow..





make a password on you wireless internet connection!





also, this router or wi fi thing only *SUPPORTS up to 54mbps*





you need a actual internet connect ask your ISP (internet servise provider) how fast is your internet connection is.
